What’s neat about this is that someone actually swapped trailer springs and axle instead of the truck springs and axle.

Wow, they swapped the axle, too? I think you’re right. Judging by the pic, the centerline of the hub looks too close to the bed floor for a diff to fit. Neat!
My neighbor did this with what was left of his ’94 GMC, but no trailer axle swap. It rode kind of high for a trailer, IMO.

That’s awesome! The trailer axle makes it way better. Usually these sit so high they’re a PITA to use.
